UNIQUE GLOBAL TOURS SEEING THE WORLD FROM A FRESH PERSPECTIVE!! Our company offers one-of-a-kind tours for very small groups of adults. Our goal is to provide our customers with an unforgettable international travel experience immersing themselves into a culture with the expert guidance of experienced local guides. How small is a “small” group? 10-12 people!! We picture our small group to be an ideal size--big enough to add an interesting mix of people with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to the trip--small enough that we can quickly adapt to the groups particular likes and dislikes. We want you to take your time enjoying experiencing your new environment--not sitting in a lobby for an hour checking in or out, waiting for attendance to be taken, etc… Due to our small group size, we are often able to use local transportation--such as metros, public buses, and mini-buses. (We also spend several nights at most places, to eliminate the constant packing, unpacking, checking in, checking out, and other time consuming aspects of most tours.) Our trips are designed by the people living in the countries that we will be visiting. We do NOT design trips while sitting at a computer in the USA. Since our tour directors live or have lived in the regions we visit, they know the special places to go. (As the Russians say: “Follow the locals!”) We go to cafes, pubs, hotels, castles and museums that most tourists (on a huge bus with a large group) either do not know about or can’t squeeze in… Please read some of our itineraries and you will see what we are talking about. For example, we offer a chance to visit a famous Russian artist in Moscow at his art studio. (His contemporary paintings, graphics, engravings, and monotypes have been featured in major exhibitions in Germany, France, Syria, Belgium, Hungary, USA, and, of course, Russia.) Because of his close friendship with several leaders of Unique Global Tours, this talented gentleman will warmly welcome our small group into his studio. Seated around his kitchen table with an odd assortment of chairs, we are offered chocolates, crackers, tea, coffee, or maybe some wine or vodka (whatever is available that day?). We casually chat about whatever interests the group--working as an artist under communism, his life story (amazing!), and current events in Russia or the USA. He gladly shows us some of his work and explains the particular inspirations or techniques used in his works. Our visits to his studio typically last a couple of hours, but are never rushed or hurried. (THAT is a Unique Global Tour experience---meeting and interacting with a REAL PERSON!!) This type of authentic, behind-the-scenes opportunities is a specialty of Unique Global Tours. Please read the “who we are” section to get an idea of our vast travel experience and our passion for sharing our international friendships and knowledge with our customers. Yes, if we took larger groups, we could probably make a lot more money leading tours, but we know that it just could NOT be the same special experience for you. We know that we have included a lot of information on this website.
